HERMES TERRE D'HERMES EDP
Jean-Claude Ellena, perfumer to the House of Hermès, wanted to pursue his own creation further: to “Emphasize the outline…”. Reinterpreted by Philippe Mouquet, designer for the House and creator of the Terre d’Hermès bottle, the bottle achieves the symmetry of a square, and this confirms its density. An object that condenses the verticality of the original bottle. The bottle’s H-shaped footprint is in a more intense orange. An essential density which underscores the facets of both mineral and woody blends by amplifying the vivacious sparkle of citrus scents with a note of shiso. The mineral aspect, characterised by a note of flint in all its sharp luminous effect, is established without being heavy-handed. The woods and balms become almost sunny, and add comfort and charisma to the fragrance.
